I don’t think Russia is threatening Sweden and Finland with an invasion. They’re just telling them that if they join their potential strategic adversaries, to be prepared to get the same treatment as the rest of them.

Realpolitik- wise, since nearly every country in Europe - plus the US - will all be united in a military block against Russia - they will need every weapon imaginable to keep all those folks in line.

I think, btw, that whatever else Nato is - it’s also a tool serving the globalist idea of uniting the world. Claus Schwab must be very happy. The problem is, though, that instead of a One World — there will be a world divided into at least 2 big blocks. Just like in “1984”.
