With two factories installed in Minas Gerais, the second of which should start operating at the beginning of the second semester, the company is already studying the implementation of a third unit for 2024 . Verde Agritech has two manufacturing units in Minas Gerais, located in São Gotardo. The first unit has a production capacity of 600 thousand tons of fertilizer per year. The second unit, which should be inaugurated at the beginning of the second half, has a capacity of 2.4 million tons. The forecast is that the third unit, still in the study phase, will produce up to 10 million tons. Together, they will produce 16.4% of Brazilian demand for potash.
In 2021, the company produced 400,133 tons of potassium-based products, reaching a turnover of R$ 119.3 million, 239% higher than in 2020. For this year, the expectation is to increase revenues by 100% and reach production minimum of 700 thousand tons.
“These numbers were announced at the beginning of the year, but the estimate with the fertilizer crisis is for higher numbers,” said Veloso.

According to Verde Agritech, more than 2,000 Brazilian farmers use the company's products , which have already been applied to more than 500,000 hectares since 2018. Worldwide, 5,000 farmers use Verde Agritech products to produce more nutritious and sustainable food.
