Thanks Ben. Is there a web location where we can get the entire 72 page report for our inspection? It might be more interesting reading than the "JTS-ized" version that is on their web site.

I have to admit, with regard to patents, I can't see how any company can hold a patent on a certain size hard drive, unless it entails new technology. In general, I believe you cannot get a patent for anything which an expert in the field would consider as a fairly obvious refinement on current technology. Simply scaling a drive would seem to fall in this category.
