The Philadelphia Stars first USFL football game The Philadelphia Stars opened their inaugural United States Football League season tonight with a 23-17 loss to the New Orleans Breakers. There were very few recognizable players on the field and very few fans in an almost empty Birmingham, Alabama Protective Stadium. where all league games will be played this year. foxnews.com and msn.com I managed to view the 1st half on USA Network.
