I didn’t write “provocative” - it’s part of Amazon’s introduction to the book. But, yes - it was since after WWII that the US got into this game of global dominance. Started with Europe. Japan remained somewhat independent - but always friendly. And the rest of Asia was poor and… not very interesting. But, things are very different. Many Asian nations are affluent - and China is becoming powerful and independent.

It is unlikely that Zbig’s “Grand Vision” will do us much good. We are 30 trillion in debt and counting. Real inflation may be kicking in. Need to get our own house in order.
