Made me look. Presumably the "refrain from doing" the mask mandate is the goal?

This is going to be a hard slog, even after the Federal mandate is removed. Everyone in charge loves to err on the side of caution. They won't even give out nuts for fudge sundaes at McDonald's anymore. Funny thing about that is it's somewhat related - and caused by the same effect - erring on the side of caution.

Vaccines, it turns out, often have aluminum or other reaction producing substances (used to be thimerosol - a compound with mercury in it.) This is done on purpose to stimulate the immune system to "learn" faster about the other parts of the vaccine that guard against the disease. So for a short time after receiving vaccinations, people can become very sensitive to any compound that may not normally produce an immune reaction.

People eating nuts right after a vaccination can become allergic to nuts, and apparently have been in such numbers that the legal advisors to big companies can't justify the risk to serve nuts in a lot of places where it was never an issue before.
