Of course!

Not having the resources to take over the entire Ukraine, which is huge, suggests that the Russian goals were more limited, i. e., the Donbas, where the conflict has existed for decades or, perhaps, Ukraine east of the Dnieper, where most of the Russian speakers reside.

It looks like it was the Donbas as originally planned or that the attempt to take eastern Ukraine has failed and the Russians have gone to Plan B.

A good development, because it signals the beginning of the end of the conflict.
