Speaking of series we bailed on - "Vexed" on APV was a lame attempt to be cute that tried to hard. "Wycliffe" is a very pedestrian British cop serial that I found very non-gripping. "Ruth Rendell Mysteries" was a total fail for the first 3-parter "Master of the Moor" with poor Colin Firth overacting through a lame plot that had me laughing during the dramatic finale, it was so bad. Maybe the other stories are better.

We did circle back to "Touching Evil" with Robson Green and Nicola walker and enjoyed the first episode.

All of the above on APV, but I don't keep track of which may be Acorn or Britbox.
