We have, right here in SI, many many maybe most who are gung ho for attacking Russia.
They think they are intelligent, such as sense, Haim, and many others. They can string sentences together in a linguistically superficially logical way.
Their superficial intelligence is part of the problem. Like those in high levels of USA government, they can definitely demonstrate over 80th percentile intelligence and even 99th percentile, which isn't much at all when dealing with 300 million people.
There is a trap with intelligence, especially in those who know they are up there, as demonstrated by their Harvard or Yale certificate on their wall, or even just with a crazh-hot SAT result preceding drop-out (Bill Gates for example, among many others).
It is increasingly recognised in brain function circles that a position is determined in reptilian amygdala and other subconscious bits and pieces, then fed into cognitive linguistically analytical executive function for verbal output.
So their chimpoid limbic responses, built in over millions of years, are why they act. Their linguistic output gives insight to others.
Actually intelligent people are able to debate and figure out from that where their own thinking is bung. That's one of the great things about SI = many many people with knowledge and pretty good thinking power.
People with fixed chimpoid brains are unable to change their minds in debate because they see the process as part of the actual chimp battle to be won rather than a mechanism to arrive at facts, ideas, corrections and better solutions.

Debating sense, Haim, Greenspirit and many others, the podium of truth mindset rapidly becomes evident.
