Some in Russia apparently expect nuclear threats will intimidate others into submission... and they won't... but, going that route will instead ensure it happens... because the morons driving this want that outcome... as is almost always going to be the case in structuring any "let's you and him fight" arrangement...
Putin is setting up Russians for extinction... as that's obviously the plan... since others desire gaining control of Russia's resources... and have no intention of paying market prices for them... exactly as they are not, already, today...
The peaceful end to the Cold War that was engineered... by sane people... was working out fine for everyone... including Russia... and China. But, insane people seeking to "win the peace"... will destroy far more than "the peace"... but, also, the prize.
Given how well things have gone thus far... for overly predictable Russia and its dullard leadership... a choice between giving "them" the excuse they so clearly want... to make Moscow into a smoking glowing crater... or, just declare victory, let Ukrainians live without Russian overlords... and continue getting filthy rich from selling Russia's production in necessary resources... seems a fairly obvious choice to SANE people... but, they're clearly counting on that Russian choice... the predictable... to lean in favor of doing what any street thug would do... instead of what's smart...
The obvious in the contretemps... is the Hobson's choice enabled in... getting rid of the sources of the global financial oppression.. in the deal on offer posturing as offering that.... requiring replacing it with submission to a different crew, also team WEF players... demanding carte blanche in imposing a different brand of oppression... that includes a new and far more pernicious financial oppression...
