freeloaders exist in any type of (elected) economic or political structure and have done so for ions

Agree... but thinking back to 10 years old.. storing cabbages for the winter at the family Chinese food biz (for eggrolls :) in fall.. late fall... cold .. wet... backbreaking ... smaller folks were better :) in those days mostly anywhere you worked hard to keep your job... notice I included my retirement job (HD) and it is not a generational thing.. there are a couple of kids there 19,19,23 that i would hire in an instant for extra landscaping work... they have a great work ethic... but there are a lot of freeloaders... lack of applicants has lowered the bar... getting harder and harder to be employed and happy if you take pride in your work.. (self employed stuff not included)
