This week was a continued case of may you live interesting times, and the word “Meh”

As the war drags on so does the relatively lackluster performance. In general terms the week was a downer both in Biotech and the broader indices. (The NASDAQ composite was the winner in that it was down only 1.2% for the week.) The most notable individual stock was the “profit taking” in PHIO, which last week had zoomed into the YTD first place with a weekly gain of +168.9%). This week erased -49.4% from it’s value so now its YTD is only a respectable though not earth shaking +19%, dropping it to 13th place.

For the contest portfolios, the week had no portfolio in the black, and brought a continued slide of -3.7% in the median portfolio, and the median YTD portfolio is now -26% in the red.

In the top 10 portfolio list, in contrast to last week, there is a fair bit of reordering in the portfolio positions, except DIEGOSAN is still in the top spot, as well as being the only portfolio in the black (+1.4%). Congratulations to TAMBORELLI, breaking into the top 10 for the first time with this week’s top portfolio performance (a loss of only -0.1%), and a welcome back to A.J. MULLEN after a four week absence.
