It was a great place while it lasted.

I know what you mean. Part of the problem is just the times, but the main part is the lack of Lindy. The thread worked because it was the baby of a single person for whom the second-best pleasure in life was the thread and its maintenance.

I've ramped up my use of the ignore feature lately, but it's not enough. The guiding spirit here has left the building.
