Highlights of the News

Teachers cannot lead children in prayer, but they can lead kindergarteners into changing their sexes.

The devil is winning.

ITEM 1: The New York Post reported, "Russia test-launched an “unstoppable” nuclear missile dubbed the Satan 2 this week — with President Vladimir Putin yet again threatening the potential for nuclear war.

"The Sarmat ICBM was launched Wednesday in northern Russia, with its practice warheads reaching mock targets more than 3,500 miles away on the far eastern Kamchatka Peninsula, the Kremlin said."

Satan 2.

So Putin named the missile after himself?

ITEM 2: The Daily Mail reported, "A blaze broke out at Russia's largest chemical plant just hours after a huge fire at a military facility killed seven people.

"Huge plumes of smoke were seen enveloping the Dmitrievsky Chemical Plant late this afternoon.

"The cause of the fire remains unknown. Almost 150 plant workers were reportedly evacuated.

It shouldn't warm the cockles of my pacifist heart.

But it does.

ITEM 3: Reuters reported, "Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Thursday that Ukraine needs $7 billion per month to make up for economic losses caused by Russia’s invasion of his country."

Who the heck does he think he is?

The West owes him nothing. He's like the Greta Thunberg of presidents. He demands, demands and demands.

What does he offer in return? Is he going to help us prosecute the politicians in DC his country bribed?

ITEM 4: The Hill reported, "Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) sent a cease and desist letter to Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) over a March tweet in which he alleged her statements were 'treasonous lies' and said she was 'parroting false Russian propaganda.'"

Via Citizen Free Press, her attorney also sent a letter to Keith Olbermann.

She is a lieutenant colonel in the Hawaii National Guard. Neither Romney nor Olbermann served.

Olbermann tweeted about Gabbard and Tucker Carlson, "They are Russian Assets and there is a war. There's a case for detaining them militarily. Trials are a sign of good faith and patience on the part of democracy."

What? Did America declare war on Russia when I wasn't looking?

I think Olbermann can use the insanity defense.

ITEM 5: The New York Post reported, "A Florida state senator who pushed for a mandatory Victims of Communism Day in public schools has been tapped as the Sunshine State’s next education chief.

"Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday formally recommended Manny Diaz to serve as Florida’s new Education Commissioner.

"A Republican from Hialeah Gardens and a former high school teacher and assistant principal, Diaz would be the first Hispanic to serve in the role."

He is also a former teacher, coach, and school administrator. He also is a Cuban-American

ITEM 6: The Washington Post warned, "Ron DeSantis's war on Disney points to an ominous GOP future."

Yes, a future where the ABC, ESPN, Disney, Fox movie studios and Pixar no longer push LGBT on schoolchildren.

In other words, awesome.

The more WaPo digs in to protect groomers, the more I wonder about the newspaper's staff and owner.

DeSantis knew they would come after him. He selected the best battle to wage.

ITEM 7: The Daily Mail reported, "Stephen Colbert has announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday."

Not long ago this Marxist monkey was pushing vaccinations. Did he go unvaccinated -- or are the vaccines not really vaccines? I know of no one getting polio or smallpox after being vaccinated.

ITEM 8: NYT reported, "N.Y. House Districts Illegally Favor Democrats, Appeals Court Rules

"A divided five-judge panel found that Democrats engaged in gerrymandering in creating new district maps. The case is expected to head to New York’s highest court."

So what?

Democrats control the legislature. That is how it works.

ITEM 9: Becker News reported, "Hillary Rodham Clinton, former Secretary of State and failed 2016 presidential candidate, is backing an insidious new global censorship bill that would change the Internet as we know it.

"The mastermind behind the infamous Russia hoax unironically tweeted her support for a shadowy bill called the Digital Services Act, which is gaining traction in the European Union."

Meanwhile, her partner in spreading anti-Trump disinformation, Barack Obama, announced he will crusade against disinformation.

Finally, OJ is still looking for the murderer of Nicole Simpson.

ITEM 10: Discovery made it official and announced CNN+ will end on April 30 after Jeff Zucker blew $100 million on it.

That worked out to spending $1,000 to lure each of its $5.99 a month customers.

Remember, 30 days hath November, April, June, and September -- and CNN+.

ITEM 11: Western Journal reported, "On Thursday, Fox News host Sean Hannity surpassed the late cable news legend Larry King to become the longest running primetime host in television history."

He's been in primetime 25 1/2 years on Fox -- or 306 times as long as CNN+ will have existed.

ITEM 12: The Daily Mail reported, "Kamala Harris' chief of staff Tina Flournoy is leaving the vice president's staff, making her the most senior member of staff exodus that has been taking place for months."

The list of staffers who quit her majesty the veep:

Tina Flournoy, chief of staff

Michael Fuchs, deputy chief of staff

Nancy McEldowney, National Security Adviser

Sabrina Singh, deputy press secretary

Kate Childs Graham, head speechwriter

Symone Sanders, senior adviser and chief spokesperson

Ashley Etienne, communications director

Peter Velz, director of press operations

Vince Evans, senior aide

Karly Satkowiak, director of advance

Gabrielle DeFranceschi, deputy director of advance

Rajan Kaur, director of digital strategies

That's a lot of people spending time with their families.

ITEM 13: Christian Headlines reported, "New sex-education standards that are set to go into effect in New Jersey this year have sparked a nationwide controversy and have even led to a public comment from the state’s Democratic governor, who supports the standards but wants clarification on what children will be taught.

"The standards, approved in 2020, are scheduled to be implemented this fall and will expand what students across all grades will learn about several issues, including LGBTQ+ matters.

"For example, by the end of grade 2, children should be able to 'discuss the range of ways people express their gender and how gender-role stereotypes may limit behavior.'

"A state-approved lesson plan and activity for first graders teaches kids that gender identity is how they feel. A child can look like a boy on the outside but be a girl on the inside, according to the lesson."

The state of New Jersey is run by groomers.

I suggest residents who disapprove move to Florida.

ITEM 14: The Trafalgar Group -- the most accurate poll out there -- has Biden's approval/disapproval at 40%/55%.

It generic congressional poll is really bad news for Democrats as 48% said they will vote Republican and 39% said they will vote Democrat.

The poll oversampled Democrats.

ITEM 15: Fortune reported, "Netflix is scrambling to adjust expectations and stay within budget for the next year, amid a historic loss of subscribers.

"The streaming giant plans to significantly reduce its content offerings and cut expenses after a nightmare first quarter earnings report this week.

"In the first three months of 2022, Netflix lost 200,000 subscribers, falling far short of the 2.5 million gain it had projected. It expects to lose 2 million more in the current quarter.

"The company’s stock plunged almost 38% on Wednesday after the announcement and is down another 5% in midday trading on Thursday.

"'Well, it’s a bitch,' Netflix co-CEO Reed Hastings told employees at a town hall on Wednesday about the decline in subscribers, as reported by the Wall Street Journal."

Maybe it is more like harvest time: reaping what you sow.

Flashback to September 2020, when Deseret News reported, "The Parents Television Council (PTC) has recently called out Netflix for its response to the film Cuties.

"The PTC said the film 'normalizes the sexualization of little girls.'

"Netflix faces controversy over the French film Cuties, which has featured sexualized portrayals of young children. The film is about an 11-year-old girl who rebels against her conservative family to join a dance crew. Conservatives have said some of the scenes are child pornography, according to the Deseret News. An online petition has asked for people to unsubscribe from Netflix in response."

The movie bombed, as did the boycott.

However, this and Netflix throwing a big contract at the Obamas tainted the network. The loss of subscribers was only 0.1% of its base but it was just enough to shake confidence in the company's future.

ITEM 16: The New York Post reported, "Texas’ oldest death row inmate was executed Thursday for killing a Houston police officer during a traffic stop nearly 32 years ago.

"Carl Wayne Buntion, 78, was executed at the state penitentiary in Huntsville. He was condemned for the June 1990 fatal shooting of Houston police officer James Irby, a nearly 20-year member of the force."

He wrote his death certificate 32 years ago. It should not have taken this much time to carry that sentence out.

ITEM 17: The Gazette reported, "A federal judge has declined to issue a temporary restraining order after finding no imminent threat from a group who allegedly interrogated and intimidated Colorado voters at their homes, including while armed.

"U.S. District Court Chief Judge Philip A. Brimmer rejected a request from three civic organizations to temporarily block the U.S. Election Integrity Plan — a group that believes the 2020 election was rigged — from going door to door to question voters about mail ballots, voter fraud or otherwise intimidate them from voting. While Brimmer acknowledged the concerns about USEIP's activities in 2021, he saw no evidence of current impropriety in violation of federal law."

The Colorado Montana Wyoming State Area Conference of the NAACP, the League of Women Voters of Colorado and Mi Familia Vota brought the case.

The judge's order said, "These allegations are unsupported, and plaintiffs do not show that any of this alleged misconduct is ongoing, such that drastic, emergency relief is necessary."

Bush 43 judge. This explains why he wants evidence before stopping someone from doing something that is perfectly within their rights to do.

FINALLY, Zero Hedge reported, "62% Of Gen Z Says They Used Alcohol Before Their First Sexual Experience, New Survey Finds."

Yep.

That's generally how it works.
