lol, I was just thinking about chickens...my friends in the country I mentioned earlier in the week, the ones who have the little country store - they also have a little family farm. She gets about 3-4 doz eggs a day, so I think i's time to go load up! She's also gots goats so goat milk and cheese. If things get too bad I'll just have to go down there, lol It's about a 45 minute drive for me, but it's so nice and peaceful down there. Mississippi Delta - it's got its own culture, language and way of life. I'm a delta girl, but moved away. Think Steel Magnolias. I couldn't do it for the rest of my life. I think too much, lol. My oldest son is taking it further. They are coming home this year, but only because her father is sick. When he passes, they wll never come back to the South. I have absolutely no problem with that, in fact, there is some pride in the fact I raised kids who don't accept certain things..
