Hi John-- thanks! Re. my babblings about hole #'s, here's the answer, from the Dec.2 NR:

"Ashton Mining has received the results of the first microdiamond tests from kimberlite K-91 on the Buffalo Hills project in north-central Alberta. Kimberlite K-91 is 2.3km north-northwest of kimberlite K-14, and is reflected as a magnetic anomaly 400 metres long and 100 metres wide. In October a vertical core drill hole and three angle holes were put down from one site. After penetrating 15 metres of overburden these holes cut intersections of kimberlite of up to 110 metres in length before passing into mudstone country rock."

Today's K91 results are from the 3 ANGLE holes, as well as re-worked results from the first vertical hole; so there you have it! This explains my curiosity regarding their not having announced any further drilling on K91-- they haven't, til starting now (d-uh). I feel a lil silly. :^}

Re. the new target anomalies to be drilled-- I'm betting on Ashton's empirical expertise to score some huge hits! ;)
And you make a great point re. AEC-- they have ensured a sustained piece of this important play by their continued $$ participation.

Regards,
-j
