Futures are like trading anything else.

The hardest part is opening the account with a futures only broker and loading the programs up<G>

I'm using ninja traders brokerage, that integrate into the charting platform with one click trading. The harmonic software and platform run about 80 bucks a month.

The thing with futures is the tremendous leverage you are dealing with. The margin for 1 NQ contract with ninja is $1800 per contract. NQ trades at $20 a point, so you can evaporate $1000 in 50 points. This is margin is only during the day, overnight it goes to whatever CME is. I think about $17K

Ninja also has a simulated account you can practice with until you are ready to put real money at risk. Works the same as a real account, all functions of super dom trading window work.

Edit. there are also micro contracts that are one tenth the of NQ, MNQ
