Well a Nesbitt Anal had BRE-X as a Buy all the way to the end,
saying there is GOLD in them there SWAMPS in Indonesia.
Nesbitt is being sued in the Bre-X lawsuits.

Analysts that work for Brokers are self serving if they don't get buyers for the stock there will be no business, etc. Analyst that work for Mutual Funds are probably better but not all the time, in that they put their money in there too, most of the time. Except for
Jeff Vinik and others like him who tout a stock so they can sell it.

So its all a mixed bag. If any of them were any good, WHY don't they quit there Day jobs and become Stock traders Full time? Because
someone has to move the stocks and markets. With the recent BOOM in
Mutual Funds, its no wonder the market keeps going up. According
to some reasearch reports, there are more Mutual funds than there
are stocks. And the great irony is that some Mutual Funds buy stocks
in other Mutual Funds. Its all a sell serving legalized Pyramid scheme. Its all fine and dandy when evryone makes money. But When
all the old retired people start pulling their money, watch out.
