Irrelevant whether Russia cornered or not. Only matters should Russian elite see Russia cornered.

The rights and wrongs have no place in the equation, and the many possible off-ramp solutions workable or otherwise.

And Russia can only win, militarily or the planet, including Russia loses. That is Russia’s position, and whether a bluff or not, I do not know, and do not want to know. Is for the folks who made the security guarantees to Ukraine to determine.

Should the elite remove Putin and sue for peace, great.

My suspicion is that Putin might be a moderate.

Otherwise, on whatever might work, I remain agnostic and am open minded.
