I have followed and admired Taleb for years. This time, he is uncharacteriscally wrong. Yes, the East is Westphalian and the West is multicephalous, though the huge US influence in the West makes me wonder how multi this cephalus really is. Nonetheless, the point is that these two systems are clashing in Ukraine, and the consequences of the clash, and the nature of it, have to be taken very seriously. Nothing he says diminishes the dangers we face thanks to the idiotic approach to Ukraine orchestrated by dummies like Unland and Vindemann. I'm not 100% sure he accepts them. Plus, Taleb has predicted nothing accurately about Ukraine. He is no expert in that arena like Mearsheimer is, having studied the area and its history for decades. Mearsheimer had it right from the git go. What has Taleb done to suggest that he is better versed?
