Kevin- It's the filing of the previously reported acquisition of AmeriCare. The deal should be accretive to this year's earnings. This is one of the reasons that NCES had an IPO: So NCES could use its stock to purchase valuable companies. Gradually, as the value of its underlying businesses becomes greater, NCES stock will be worth a lot more, and the share price will have risen accordingly. Todd
