The mRNA therapies were designed to mitigate serious disease, not stop it completely. I think that's one area where people get lost in reading the stats. You really have to be a virologist to properly interpret the stats.

Another thing people forget about are T-Cells. They store the response to the virus and can mount an attack on the virus when the antibodies get low.
