Lets see. I wonder why SIMO didn't put out a press release if they've hired an outside advisor to help them with acquisition discussions, a la O2Micro Announces Engagement of Independent Financial Advisor and Legal Counsel to the Special Committee finance.yahoo.com And I wonder if China may block any acquisition because they don't want ownership of Taiwanese companies transferring to the USA? If I were China and planned (some day) to acquire Taiwan, I wouldn't want the jewels leaving the island. Still, I'll take it!
