<<Is your brother considering ?>>

I was speaking to him yesterday. The question did not even arise as it would be a solid "No".

He was visiting his Dacha that avoided damage but buildings and roads in villages either side completely wrecked. I think he was shocked. One of those villages was Bucha. His nephew who was in the Dacha was OK too. I didn't talk much about it, other to say I was pleased he is OK so far. We did talk about the adventures of Bald and Bankrupt and Noam Choamski whom he admires.

This was a day before the invasion.

B&B would have had a passport full of Russian stamps. Lucky he was not detained.

NC in 2015.

In the Ukraine you are always winning seemingly. Even if there is just one remaining Ukrainian left. Thats the mentality, and most people are charmed by the populations zest for life and resilience in adversity..

Everybody's butt is on the table if things escalate. From that perspective, why move from Ukraine?

My brother asked me to watch this which I did.

but to me, Russia's "Plan B" was always "Plan A" as Scott Ritter pointed out.

Putin and Co do seem to be in a hole with the invasion though. A much deeper hole then they expected for a variety of reasons.

I am just hoping that somehow, peace breaks out.
