China’s is an expansionist country. It has border disputes with 18 other countries, including Russia. It claims historical lands going back to the 13th century. Russia is trying to expand in order to control petrochemicals anywhere it thinks it can. This will lead to disputes that could erupt into "peacekeeping missions".

China's claim over Russia’s Vladivostok and its ancestral land Haishenwai is one area where war could erupt between the two nations.

The far east of Russia is sparsely populated and has vast natural resources. China needs those resources to expand. Two Dictator led countries create a recipe for war.
