The most important thing is to never explain yourself or STFU.

As far as wolves go I came within 50 feet of two timber wolves a few years ago on a frozen creek. The wind was blowing towards me, when we made eye contact they stopped and walked into the trees. One was red and the other was gray, very big but skinny. I have never heard of a verified case of a wolf attacking a human.

Don't talk to the FBI.
