Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Simple text. Pure genius. Clear as can be.

DeSantis is proof that not all Harvard grads are mush headed Libs. He’s seriously sane. And very serious.

The strangest thing is that someone actually came up with this “ministry of truth” idea. That person discussed it with others. Obviously, many agreed - and the line of least resistance became towards making this reality. So many individuals who were either ignorant of the 1st amendment, or thought they could push it through!

I think the timing of this “idea” suggests that it’s related to Elan Musk taking control of Twitter. Someone figured that this way they’ll make censorship mainstream - while keeping Musk and his bizarre notions of freedom of speech - under control.
