I don't take Musk's comment too seriously. Just another indication that there is no filter between his brain and his mouth. The embedded tweets that permeate the Internet extend the reach and influence of Twitter. It would be shortsighted to curtail that activity. Also, Musk is going to find it difficult to curtail the advertising and generate more revenue from subscriptions. A universal subscription charge would result in a large reduction in the number of users. The site has been free for too long a period. As for loosening the moderation standards, I bet that Zuckerberg can't wait for that to happen. It will take the target off of his back.
