I have no doubts that had Pres Trump understood that it’s serious, and that insisting that nato expand into Russia is such a big deal to them, and they’d go to war - he’d cut this BS in a minute. Why not - the man had serious questions about the nature of NATO and about the need for it. Why would he risk a big war over this? But, Biden isn’t Trump. What his advisors decide, carries the day. So, what we have is a very screwed up and potentially explosive situation. With Russia, presumably, getting “weakened” - and Ukraine losing people and infrastructure…
