Putin can't lose and keep his job/life, and he can't win without nukes. If rumors of surgery are true, his anesthesiologist might hold the fate of the world in his hands.
Even if PooTin croaks, his successor could be just as bad, if not worse.
I'd settle for a peace agreement signed by both sides.
More like a cease-fire rather than a peace agreement, but yeah, wouldn't that be nice?

Think about it, though. Neither PooTin nor Zelensky would settle for that.

Even if Zelensky allowed PooTin to keep his current gains, as abysmal as they are, the rest of Ukraine would never settle for that. All of those occupied territories will be open to attack (e.g. Azov Battalion).
