Minority Leader Dirksen, who broke the filibuster, was a Taft Conservative. == "today the fight in this nation is basically between the liberals and the conservatives and the liberals are the good guys" We certainly think so, but you don't have to go very far to find just as many others who feel the opposite way. We're liable to tear ourselves apart in that fight, even if it stays peaceful.
