Pancho & Dan, the AOL press release did imply that advertising and commerce revenues were not growing fast enough (ref Pancho's comment re alternate revenue sources) and that this is part of the reason for the rate hike.

If AOL has figured out that they can't grow into their market cap through advertising and Web commerce, what does that say about Yahoo?

Considering Yahoo's relative weakness late today after a sharp rise on the AOL news, perhaps I'm not the only one asking this question.
