This war was totally unnecessary and idiotic.


The proxy wars that we have fought my entire lifetime are highly immoral. I am not excusing Putin, he is evil, but fighting Russia to the last Ukranian is is also evil.
Without NATO weapons and intelligence, Zelensky would have been forced to settle weeks ago. The settlement would have sucked, but there would be a lot fewer deaths and much less destruction. If we really have a compelling interest in Ukraine, we should join the battle with our own troops. In effect, we have hired Ukraine to fight a war to weaken Russia at the cost of the destruction of the Ukraine we are "helping".
