My wife is the hero. She defends me all the time to no end. Tonight we gave my dad a new lift chair to help him reduce fluid buildup and help him get in and out of a chair.

I asked my wife to tell him she did it, not me. She needs to be a hero in this story. He needs a villain, and that's me.

Whatever works. Dementia is a nasty beast. We just roll with it.
