Highlights of the News

ITEM 1: Elliott Abrams and Eric Cohen wrote, "Ron DeSantis Is Persona Non Grata at a Holocaust Memorial.

"New York’s Museum of Jewish Heritage bans the Florida governor to promote ‘its message of inclusivity.’"

Abrams and Cohen are organizing their annual Jewish Leadership Conference next month. The museum informed them, "Either we disinvite the governor, they said, or our event was unwelcome."

Banning people is inclusion in the Orwellian States of America.

Abrams and Cohen wrote, "The preservation of Jewish heritage depends not only on remembering the lost Jews of the past. It depends also on channeling those sacred memories toward a vibrant Jewish future—the kind of Jewish renaissance we are seeing today in Florida.

"The Jewish Leadership Conference won’t be canceled, and the governor of the state with America’s third-largest Jewish population will speak. We will hold our event as planned, at a different, secular venue. But it is sad to see that the misguided leadership of a Jewish museum won’t allow alternative ideas a seat at the Jewish table."

As Edith Ann said on Laugh-In, "And that's the truth. Pbft."

ITEM 2: The Daily Wire reported, "Dr. Oz Accused Of Violating Foreign Agent Law; Photo Emerges Of Him Voting In Recent Turkish Elections."

He voted in a foreign country's election.

It is time for Trump to cut this grifter loose.

I suggest Trump back Kathy Barnette, a conservative who bested Oz in their debate.

With little money, little name recognition and a McGyver-ish campaign, Barnette is only 5 points behind the great and powerful Oz. Make Pennsylvania MAGA Country again.

ITEM 3: CNBC reported, "Worker productivity fell to start 2022 at its fastest pace in nearly 75 years while labor costs soared as the U.S. struggled with surging Covid cases, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Thursday.

"Nonfarm productivity, a measure of output against hours worked, declined 7.5% from January through March, the biggest fall since the third quarter of 1947.

"At the same time, unit labor costs soared 11.6%, bringing the increase over the past four quarters to 7.2%, the biggest gain since the third quarter of 1982. The metric calculates how much employers pay workers in salary and benefits per unit of output."

The economy is in a nosedive. Only Republicans can save us now.

And I mean real Republicans, not the ones who vote in Turkey.

ITEM 4: Business Insider reported, "With the Supreme Court seemingly poised to strike down Roe v. Wade, all eyes are on President Joe Biden and Democrats to somehow preserve abortion access for the tens of millions of women who would be barred from getting the procedure in their state, should federal protections disappear."

Maybe the plan is to use the deep state, threats of impeachment, and Antifa showing up at their homes as a means to rein in justices who may dare to turn the issue back to the states after 49 years.

Think not?

Life News reported, "Leftists have published the home addresses for the conservative members of the Supreme Court online and are threatening to engage in potentially violent and illegal protests against them. The move comes after a draft of a Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade was leaked on Monday.

"A group named Ruth Sent Us is now calling for disruption and violence in Catholic churches, as well as protests outside the private homes of Supreme Court justices and their families. These radicals even published the justices’ home addresses."

The next Republican president should send troops the very first time Democrats riot. Zero tolerance. Let the Insurrection Act be his guide.

ITEM 5: The Blaze reported, "Arab-Americans are accusing Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, a Democrat, of targeting their shops after a brutal murder caught on video at a gas station.

"Surveillance video shows a man with a rifle chasing another man on Tuesday before the victim trips and falls on the ground. The gunman shoots him at least five times at point blank range and runs away on foot.

"The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

"The gas station was ordered to be shut down by city officials and an Arab-American organization says it isn’t the first time they have been scapegoated by Lightfoot.

"Suhail Assaf, the co-owner of the gas station, told WBBM-TV that they shut down the business for two days to accommodate the police investigation before they were shut down entirely. He also argued that the victim wasn’t even on his property when the assailant chased him into the gas station.

"“You have to ask for a hearing and it could take them five days for a hearing,” said Ahmed Mohsin, another co-owner of the gas station. “I have employees that want to come back, I have no answer for them.”

"The order shutting down the business blamed the violent offense, but the American-Arab Chamber of Commerce has accused Lightfoot of blaming Arab-owned stores for violence unfairly."

This is how it works in Chicago. The city lets crime run rampant until it forces small businesses to leave. Then Chicago asks for federal help because all the stores have closed, boo hoo hoo.

ITEM 6: The Washington Examiner reported, "The bad news for unpopular President Joe Biden continues to roll in, the latest from a new survey that shows likely voters, by a 2-to-1 margin, do not want him to run again.

"Even more embarrassing for the Democratic president is one of the largest gaps yet between him and former President Donald Trump in a 2024 matchup. In the survey previewed by Secrets, Trump is up 50%-36%."

Is a 14-point lead outside the Margin of Theft?

ITEM 7: Reuters reported, "The U.S. Senate on Thursday confirmed Caroline Kennedy, a former ambassador to Japan and daughter of the late President John F. Kennedy, as the U.S. ambassador to Australia, an important ally to the United States."

The post is so important that it has been vacant for more than a year.

ITEM 8: The Grouchy Old Cripple makes a good point.

Never go woke.

Or groomer.

ITEM 9: The Daily Wire reported, "Virginia Republican Attorney General Jason Miyares sent a letter signed by 20 GOP attorneys general on Thursday to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas threatening legal action against its ‘un-American’ Disinformation Governance Board."

The list: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia.

Darned straight West Virginia is on the list. AG Patrick Morrisey does not mess around.

ITEM 10: Guess who I want as House speaker.

Just call him Wally.

ITEM 11: The Daily Wire reported, "Billionaire Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud changed his tune this week about Elon Musk buying Twitter, a stark reversal from his position last month when he rejected Musk’s offer to buy the company.

"The news comes after Twitter’s board of directors unanimously approved Musk’s offer last month to acquire the social media platform for $44 billion at $54.20 per share."

They found common ground.

Money.

ITEM 12: Page Six reported, "Dave Chappelle’s alleged attacker, Isaiah Lee, is facing four misdemeanor charges, Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer announced in a Twitter video posted on Thursday."

Black-on-black violence isn't taken serious in LA.

ITEM 13: NBC reported, "Attorney General Merrick Garland on Thursday announced a new office at the Justice Department that will focus exclusively on environmental justice.

"The office, which will prioritize low-income communities that have been hit hard by pollution and contamination, was launched in partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency."

More liberal gibberish aimed at creating a new grift opportunity for Al Sharpton and his ilk.

ITEM 14: ABC reported, "Jen Psaki leaving White House, Biden names 1st Black, openly gay press secretary to replace her."

Psaki names her but ABC didn't in it's headline. She is Karine Jean-Pierre whose only discernible qualifications are the color of her skin and her sexual preference. Competence is the last thing this administration looks for when hiring. They don't want anyone showing up the boss.

She said, "This is a historic moment, and it's not lost on me."

AP led with it!

LOL.

She will do for black people and lesbians what Lori Lightfoot has done for them in Chicago.

Nada.

ITEM 15: CNN reported, "66% of Americans DISAPPROVE of Biden’s handling of the economy."

The way Biden does his job, pretty soon Elon Mush, Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates are gonna be millionaires.

ITEM 16: CNBC reported, "Eight in ten small business owners expect a recession will hit in 2022, according to CNBC’s small business survey."

But don't worry, Democrats. Reversing Roe v. Wade will flip your fortunes in November because Americans love the thjought of killing babies in the womb.

FINALLY, Politico reported on March 9, "Donald Trump’s pick in North Carolina’s contentious Republican Senate primary is struggling to gain traction, raising concerns among his powerful backers about his prospects in a race that is key to control of the Senate.

"Rep. Ted Budd, the congressman Trump unexpectedly endorsed last summer, has fallen in recent polling and lagged in fundraising, leaving him chasing the front-runner, former Gov. Pat McCrory."

Politico reported on April 11, "Tide turns for Trump favorite in key Senate race. North Carolina’s May 17 primary is emerging as a key test of the former president’s clout."

Less than 2 weeks before the primary, Budd has a 25-point lead in the polls.

Never Bet Against Donald Trump.
