Pence to Kamala: How dare you?

Kamala gave a childish rant to abortion industry donors following news that justices likely will reverse Roe v. Wade. Her comment drew favorable press as expected. But her "How Dare They?" cry was ripped straight off Greta Thunberg.

Mike Pence surprised me by taking her on. He asked, "How dare you?"

Good for him.

Last night, in a speech at a pregnancy center in South Carolina, Pence said, "I say with the lives of 62 million unborn boys and girls ended in abortion since 1973, generations of mothers enduring heartbreaking and loss that can last a lifetime: Madame Vice President, how dare you?"

Pence's opposition to killing babies has a long history. As governor of Indiana, he signed into law a ban on abortions based on sex, race or disability.

The local paper said 1,300 attended. It did not bother covering his speech.

Kamala on Tuesday said, "How dare they? How dare they tell a woman what she can do and cannot do with her own body? How dare they?"

She was not talking about her own administration's unconstitutional vax and mask mandates. No, no, no. This was about killing babies in the womb. Abortion last year killed twice as many as covid did.

The crux of the argument by Justice Sam Alito, who wrote the majority opinion draft that may overturn Roe, is that the Constitution does not give the Court or Congress say over abortion.

Even a simple non-lawyer like me knows that this is the opposite of telling a woman what she may or may not do with her body. The decision would not ban abortion. Instead, justices would kick the issue back to state legislatures, where it was in 1972.

Pence told people who support women through unwanted pregnancies, "Governors, state legislators at every level, if this Supreme Court draft opinion holds, will now have a say over the issue of life in their individual states.

"And I have a sense, as the nation is moving more and more in the direction of recognizing the sanctity of life, that they will be looking for women and men who are willing to stand up unapologetically for the cause of life this year and in the years to come."

Contrast and compare Kamala's self-righteous anger with Pence's cool confidence and you know who really has the Lord on their side.

People make mistakes, but regardless of one's belief on whether Pence should have stopped the acceptance of the Electoral College on January 6, 2021, he has been there for the unborn all along.

And he stood up for them again last night by asking her majesty: How dare you?

Indeed, how dare Kamala tell a baby in the womb that she does not have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?
