There is no meaningful difference between a “Disinformation Governance Board” and a “Ministry of Truth”. They are indistinguishable in any meaningful context.

You seem to be struggling with the concept, the one that Orwell himself was trying to make: government, a partisan organization always, always delivers partisan analysis of truth.

Since 2026, essentially all of Washington DC has claimed that the Steel Dossier was factual. Even under Trump as president the loudest voices in government told that lie. All of you believed it. That lie, alone, was one of many, any one of which that would likely have changed the election outcome.

Russian involvement. Collusion. Nonsense. Obvious nonsense to anyone with half a mind. But the intellectuals bought it. Those of us, the Trumpers, the ordinary people who don’t have tenure in our lives, knew better.

Didn’t matter. We still got shit for brains as a president who has wrecked the country in two years and will for the next two.

I hope someone is keeping track of the horse shit that has to be rolled back on the Inauguration Day.
