Boy, isn't this fun now? No DH, I am not a MM. As I have posted before, a MM would not post on a thread like this for fear of having the SEC all over his/her case. However, you can determine what those little guys are up to if you have level 2.
As far as VOD is concerned, lets put it this way. I am skeptical of them ever doing VOD business in any meaningful way. First, the infrastructure is not there and the rollout of VOD will be painfully slow. Second, if the market does develop, other more qualified vendors will come in. Look at this On Command deal that everyone is all lathered up over. They don't have anything! Corkey said on the conference call he would let us know when the "businees relationship" was finalized. When I see some evidence that this relationship is in place, I'll start paying attention. In the meantime this VOD thing is all talk. Corkey has been saying since last year at this time that VOD is close. I'll believe it when I see it. Also, Mitsubishi Electric is the other vendor. Did anyone stop to think that CCUR may be there just to keep them honest? The longer VOD takes to develop, the more likely someone will take the market away from them. I don't think Corkey's other company is blowing away everyone in the firewall business!!
So, I'll keep buying the frustration and selling the dreams until something significant happens. I hope nobody agrees with me, otherwise there will be no buyers at 2 3/4. |
