The scales of the 2 maps are different - at the first glance, it makes it look like the Russian advance is more significant than if you look closer. There seems to be one direction where it is prominent - to the east of Izium, in the direction towards Lyman (with Sloviansk / Kramatorsk, presumably, to follow). Also, I don’t seem to see the subdivision of the potential “cauldron” into 3 smaller ones. Ukraine’s military, reportedly, spent a long time preparing and fortifying their positions in that region.
