The Democrat party abandoned regular order decades ago. The day Teddy Kennedy stood before the Senate and lied like hell -- a fact he admitted shortly thereafter -- about Bork, any semblance or regular order was gone, for good. Biden was right there with him, when he did it, backing him to the hilt.

So, really, if you want to talk about regular order we can do that -- but it wasn't Orrin Hatch or Arlen Specter who abandoned regular order. And it wasn't Republicans who carried out the "High Tech Lynching" against Clarence Thomas. Or the "borking" of John Tower for Defense.

More importantly, "regular order" was abandoned when Pelosi attempted three impeachments of Trump for NOTHING. The lies, the abject nonsense leading up to and throughout the Trump term, and even today, out of fear of his winning another term, you have a PARTISAN "committee" operating in total secrecy (for no reason other than to allow choice of material to release to the media) that is 100 percent political in nature.

Regular order, indeed.
