Beer, I'm thinking no.
VietNam, safe to say, is probably typical Asian.. steel, oil, high heat as in often, flames. Other meals, the charcoal grill.

A kitchen inst'l oven is a rare thing.. unless the occupant of a new house wanted one. The portables became popular a
few years ago when the pizza craze arrived, still the end result lacked what the pizza houses offered.

Beer. I few years ago, when I lived in CdA Idaho, a cook of my acquaintance experimented with different beers, the
resulting winner was 'BudLite'. Nothing else worked for him to his culinary satisfaction!
