Oh but of course! We (actually my wife) has a bunch of IFMX shares in her IRA with average share of around $11 and we are not planning to sell those shares for at least another 30 years or so.

However in our regular account I have to take some profits from now through next 6 months. And this is not just with IFMX but with most of my stock holdings but 2 (SUNW and LSI). I am going to be a dad soon in about 6 moinths and we are planning to buy a house (either here in Silicon Valley or Santa Barbara if we move back to Southern CA) so I am playing a bit cautious especially considering that 90% of all our assets is in the stock market with 100% of that in high techs! And especially since I am a bit nervous about this whole South East Asian flue, which if true I can not afford continuing my patience for another year!

So you see (for me anyway) it is not a matter of playing long term or not, I am simply taking some profits. How else can I afford buying a house in Los Altos, or Palo Alto, (or if we move back to Southern CA) in Santa Barbara?!! Price of houses is these areas do not seem to know any limit but the sky!!

Regards,
