The US fertility is also below replacement levels, and it’s slightly lower, at 1.782

Neither number is unusual for developed countries. Lithuania is a little under 1.7, Germany is 1.6

(Replacement fertility level - enough to keep the population level steady - is 2.1 babies per female).

I’m not sure what you mean by “second world”. Russia - thanks to decades of tireless efforts by NATO and the American “Zbigians” - was successfully pushed East - towards Asia. That is where most of the population of the world live, and their economies are not exactly shrinking. They’ll make do.

Anyway, that’s their darn business. All I want from them is one thing — to try not blowing up the world. Actually, that’s what I want from NATO and the US as well.
