Stockman,
I wasn't even half joking. I'll never make light of Fuchi's ideas. Fuchi had the vision before Cyrix and Cyrix was too dumb to pursue it. It blows my mind that Cyrix didn't pursue sooner, small notebooks and other computer appliances for the MediaGX. Over a year and a half later we see the MediaGX in one notebook, Compaqs. We see only one obscure company in China about to sell a small notebook, 6" screen, with a MediaGX chip. A year ago I was considering putting a group together building and marketing such devices but decided against it when I saw Compaq introduce the Presario 2200, figuring they would incorporate the GX into a notebook in short order. Well, I was wrong...and the rest is history. The GX hasn't yet got off the ground and I blame Cyrixs inept marketing efforts.
You are right, Fuchi has had great ideas, an idealist as well. Unfortunately in the real world of fabs, wafers and yields...the "good guys" don't always win. It took me a while to learn this myself. I mainly have Yousef and Paul E. to thank for that.

Jim
