If it was serious enough to force Alito & his family to vacate and find another place, that's more serious than a candlelight vigil.

It is more serious. But still not in a class with a coup. Had they burned his house down, it still wouldn't be in a class with a coup.

You have always categorized 1/6 as a protest and then compared it against other protests on the basis of amount of violence. It's appropriate to rank protests based on amount of violence.

But 1/6 was not just a protest. It was a different category of thing. And the coup category trumps the protest category in terms of big deal, aka proportion.
