Women in the United States will adapt to making fast decisions.
So, if it is for the purpose of reserving some power for themselves, women should prefer a statue in their honor.
Like everything else, it seems this is a symbolic gesture rather than a real need. Those of us who are/have been pro-choice for years now see other approaches that will solve the problem and that don't come with any of the bad stuff abortions entail, believe it is time stop with the barbarism and move toward more acceptable alternatives. I can name half a dozen women who, until this day, are still fucked up in the head about having chosen to abort a baby they never really wanted they got from a guy who damned sure never wanted it. Maybe it was their choice, but they didn't like living with it forever. |
