Like everything else, it seems this is a symbolic gesture rather than a real need.


Things only an unwoke man would say. Tell that to a rape victim, of which there are way more than you ever hear of. Tell that to a 16 year old forced to keep and raise an unwanted child, a thing that will determine her life from then on.

..and it's not just abortion. Some right wingers are already pondering if they can get this Catholic Supreme Court majority to outlaw contraception. Not because they're Catholics, but because they fear being outnumbered by the 'others', and somehow think they can breed their way out of it.
