I pretty much summarized what your words imply. Fighting together with the USSR in WWII - or with Hitler - is… “Similar” or analogous - it’s all the same. Morally equivalent. I resent that.

The German Nazis never seriously tried to capture Leningrad. And when their Finnish “co-combatants” refused to do it, they all simply settled on starving them to death. Which they did.

There is only that much hair splitting a guy can do in a day.
