If that’s the case, and we know Ukraine was a least 5 years away from joining the UN in a best case scenario, we should expect Russia to invade Finland and Sweden any day, as they will likely become NATO members in the next three or four months.

Of course it’s not always about land and resources, it is with Russia though and the former Soviet invading war loving Union.

Why is the question? Why does this one country and their people desire to dominate and control so much of the world? Why can’t they build a peaceful society that doesn’t brainwash the masses into believing someone (like Ukraine) is going to come across the border like Nazi Germany with 1 tenth the army and no nuclear weapons to threaten them?

It’s a deeply sick society, inflicted with paranoid fantasies the world is out to get them.
