That chart doesn't go back far enough. I don't think this is your typical short term "but the dip" correction. I would want to see how it acted in Y2K and maybe 08 though even that one was only 18 months. I don't recall off the top of my head if it had many bounces then resumptions of the decline. I'm out digging holes so can't look right now. I just found the missing rocker for my hit and miss pump engine project. Metal detector is finding all kinds of stuff. Old horseshoe, a couple farm implement pieces. Whenever something broke, he just leaned it against a tree and forgot about it. Found an old wagon wheel hub a while ago. I'm trying to find the fuel mixer but no luck so far.
